The Tuition/Assessment process

  1. We will have an initial chat, usually over the phone, to decide on the most appropriate route.
  2. Does the student need screening, a general assessment, access arrangements or a full assessment?  See assessment options.
  3. If tuition only is required, a 30-minute screening will take place in the first session to establish strengths and weaknesses and to inform the approach to teaching.  Further screening may take place during the course of the sessions.
  4. If a diagnosis is required, a full diagnostic assessment will need to be be carried out. 
  5. The student will need to have an eye test if they have not had one within the last twelve months.
